Be kind with your words, be empathetic with others, be you and accept others as they are.
February is a month that glows with love and joy. Not just romantic love, but self-love and loving friendships. It's about kindness, respect and the joy of uplifting others.
This month is also a reminder to take action and engage in random acts of kindness as a way to spread love and connect with others in a grand way.
Savor a chocolate, or give it. Maybe you can create a card for someone you love? Usually, around Valentine’s Day, Mike and I will go out to eat, enjoying a meal together.
Mike buys treats for the girls and leaves them on the table before leaving to work.
When we offer genuine compliments or encouragement, we’re not just giving, we’re receiving, too. Kindness lifts the spirit. It builds connection and it makes the world a little brighter for everybody.
This month, I invite you to:
Offer genuine compliments to those around you: friends, family, even strangers.
Practice kindness in small ways like holding the door, sharing a smile or buying a cup of coffee for a colleague
Reflect on how you experience love during your daily interactions
Notice the good
Tell someone that you love them
And don't forget to be kind to yourself
From My Soul to Yours,
NancyJ
